Launched in 2007, the brand today is owned by MindGeek, with offices in several major cities around the world. They’ve created an app that is totally free too, encouraging you to download it and give it a try.

Trickpics is a mobile app which was originally designed for iOS and Android smartphones. The Android app is no longer available on the Google Play store, so the app can only be downloaded by iPhone users – there’s no desktop or mobile site. The app is pretty easy to use and works well but can be a little slow when rendering images.
User Experience
Trickpics is totally free to download and doesn’t force any paid upgrades. This means anybody with an iPhone or iPad can download the app, and there are no annoying ads to worry about. The app works well on iOS Smartphones and tablets – the layout is clean and it’s easy to use. However image rendering can be a little slow, taking up to three minutes to download and save the image to your device, as rendering takes place on the app’s server side.

Customer Service
Trickpic’s customer service is a little lacking to say the least. Although the app is free to download, you might find you need support if it crashes or if it isn’t working properly. The ‘Contact support’ link on the iOS app store download page takes you to a totally unrelated website which has nothing to do with the app developer.
This doesn’t give you much faith that the app developers are available to help should you need it! There is also a link to visit the developer website (trickpics.net) but this again takes you to a blog site that isn’t linked to the app or developer in any way. If you need support or help while using the app, you might want to consider downloading one of the other photo editing apps out there instead!
Conclusion
Although Trickpics is a free app and provides a fun way to ‘clean up’ your nude selfies for sharing on social media, the app is lacking in a number of ways. It’s only available on iOS, so Android users will miss out, and there’s no support available to speak of – the link to support options or the developer website takes you to a totally unrelated corner of the web!
The app can also be quite slow to load, taking several minutes to download and save images to your device. Numerous glitches and crashes have been reported by users of the app, and with the developers seemingly providing no customer service or support, it might be best to stick to Snapchat and other photo editing apps instead!
